Twentysix views from a passenger seat pays homage to Edward Ruscha’s photographic series from 1963 entitled Twentysix Gasoline Stations. Ruscha photographed fueling stations along the highway between Los Angeles and Oklahoma City. I photographed views of the Oklahoma landscape from a passenger seat while traveling between Lawton and Mount Scott.
